BANDAR SUNWAY: Taylorians are not frequenting their visits at a bistro near the Food Processing Lab of Taylor’s University Lakeside Campus due to hygiene concerns.
“I gave them a few chances as I’ve visited a few times knowing their flaws however, they disappointed me nonstop,” said a Taylor’s University student, Muhajir Anuar.
Reports of food tasting like metal, to waiters having communication barriers and the long waiting period for food to arrive are some of the concerns brought up by students.
Muhajir added: “They should just close down and replace it with a better restaurant.”
Students mentioned most meals seen on the menu were not available upon order.
With this restaurant being the only restaurant serving porridge, Claudia Baba, a student who was feeling unwell and desperate had no choice but to give the restaurant a second chance.
“The second time I visited the place, I found a cockroach in my food,” said Baba. (Refer to audio)
After multiple experiences at the restaurant, no action was being taken seriously by the management.
Muhajir stressed: “I communicated with the manager, surprisingly he is aware of the, environment especially rusty equipment they’re using. However, no action is taken.”
